A contemporary church and community center are up for online auction for 441 thousand euros
The issue concerns the surface rights of the two buildings, the Church of Santo António and the Assentos Community Center, in Portalegre, whose construction dates back to 2008. The bankruptcy of the Centro Social e Comunitário de São Bartolomeu, a Private Institution of Social Solidarity (IPSS) created by the initiative of the Paróquia de S. Lourenço in the 1960s, which had nursery, preschool, and free-time activities, left 80 children without support and 30 workers unemployed.
