Land for the “fuel of the future” in Montijo auctioned for 14 million

The green ammonia market is on the rise, driven by the need for more sustainable energy sources. In this context, the online auction of a 52.3-hectare plot in Canha, Montijo, stands out, whose approved PIP aims to build a green ammonia factory. With a base value of 14 million euros, the auction, held in partnership with Leilosoc Worldwide, sparked interest by offering not only the land but also the entire engineering project and validated clients and technical-financial validation by an independent auditor/certifying body.
