4 YEARS OF PEDALING WITH THE GRANDE PRÉMIO DOURO INTERNACIONAL

The 4th edition of the Grande Prémio Douro Internacional begins this Friday, June 7th. Since 2021, LEILOSOC® has been a sponsor of this sporting event, organized by JN and O JOGO.

LEILOSOC®'s experience in supporting national cycling initiatives in recent years has been enriching. We have believed in and supported the "Grande Prémio" O JOGO | LEILOSOC®, JN | LEILOSOC® and Douro Internacional. That is why this sponsorship allows the LEILOSOC® brand to be close to people and their territories.

Certainly, this race will provide a unique landscape experience. With the aim of prioritizing the North region, particularly the interior, this Grande Prémio is present in 6 municipalities. The 4 stages pass through Resende, Santa Marta de Penaguião, Carrazeda de Ansiães, Tabuaço, Armamar and Lamego. Thus, the iconic terraces and vineyards of the Douro will be the natural stage for 588.7 kilometers.

As the youngest race on the national calendar, it has a unique demand over four days filled with climbs. The pelotons and athletes highlight, with every pedal stroke and race after race, values of resilience, perseverance and camaraderie. This is reflected in all the entities involved in the realization of this Grande Prémio Douro Internacional.

Initiatives like this foster the national sporting tradition. In addition, they encourage athletes, teams, fans, municipalities and brands to continuously contribute to the growth of cycling. The evolution, both nationally and internationally, has been reflected in excellence races and unique spectacles.

Above all, it is worth highlighting the continuous support that JN and O JOGO have given to this sport. Another year with renewed stages to win the hearts of new fans. The collective will to make cycling an increasingly practiced and loved sport is easily recognized.
