"ESFREGÕES FAVIR" AT PUBLIC AUCTION FOR 1.1 MILLION

The In-Person Auction of the Favir Plastics Factory Lda insolvency (3370/23.9T8VIS) takes place next Monday, May 27, at 2:30 PM. Accordingly, the event will be held at the Favir premises in Santa Comba Dão (Rua Principal 4, 3440-607 Rojão Grande, Vimieiro).

The insolvent's liabilities consist of a complete and operational Industrial Unit for Metal Products. The valuation of the total assets corresponds to 1,331,230.00 € (Base Value), with a Minimum Value of 1,131,545.50 €. Access the auction page here.

The assets for sale include:

• Industrial Complex (4 pavilions and a transformer station), located in Vimieiro, Santa Comba Dão. The properties are distributed over a total area of 5,440.77 m². They have a Base Value of 719,200.00 € and a corresponding Minimum Value of 611,320.00 €;
• Equipment and machinery for the manufacture of metal products. In summary, steel wool rolls, steel wool, wire brushes and the famous saponified brushes. The set also includes stock and raw materials, furniture, IT equipment, appliances and the national brand “FAVIR”. These assets are valued at 612,030.00 € (Base Value), with a corresponding Minimum Value of 520,225.50 €.

Furthermore, the properties benefit from exemption from Municipal Tax on Onerous Real Estate Transfers (IMT) and Stamp Duty. This tax benefit is granted under Article 270, paragraphs 1 and 2, of the CIRE (Insolvency and Corporate Recovery Code).

Founded in 1961, Favir Plastics Factory Lda began its activity with the manufacture of plastics. However, since 1964 it has been dedicated to the manufacture of cleaning products derived from steel wire. Favir even produced the famous soap-impregnated brush in its premises.

This identity brand of Santa Comba Dão differentiated itself in the local, regional, national and international industrial fabric. In fact, Favir exported to practically all European and African countries with Portuguese as an official language. Most of its production consisted of degreasing brushes with impregnated soap. As well as, steel wool brushes, steel wool, galvanized brushes, stainless steel and nickel steel.

The sale of the complete Industrial Unit constitutes an investment advantage. For the investor, the return comes from the possibility of continuing the company's activity.
