INSOLVENCY OF COOPERATIVA AGRÍCOLA DE VIDIGUEIRA SOON AT AUCTION

The auction of the insolvent Cooperativa Agrícola de Vidigueira CRL (182/20.5T8CBA) is scheduled for the near future. The sale, organized by LEILOSOC®, will take place from September onwards, on a date and location to be determined.

The real estate liabilities of the Cooperative consist of an industrial warehouse and a building, both located in the municipality of Vidigueira. However, it is worth noting that these properties are still in the valuation phase.

Along with the properties, movable assets will also be presented to the market, which are valued, globally, at 288,085.00 €. Specifically:

• Machines and equipment for olive oil production (including bottling lines, olive reception and continuous extraction);
• Light commercial vehicles;
• Industrial property (national brands Clube Galega, Conde da Vidigueira, Azeite Vidigueira, Vinagre Vidigueira, Azeitona Vidigueira, Pasta de Azeitona Vidigueira, …).

About Cooperativa Agrícola de Vidigueira

Founded in 1957 and headquartered in Vidigueira, Cooperativa Agrícola de Vidigueira (CAV) focused on olive oil production. In the 2019/2020 campaign, CAV received over 6 million kilos of olives. As a result, this value corresponded to a production of 900 thousand kilos of olive oil.

Before the insolvency (2020), the Cooperative had a daily production capacity of approximately 350 thousand kilos of olives. In addition, its storage capacity corresponded to approximately one million liters of olive oil.
